This painting is one of the series of paintings that I am using to illustrate some verses from the Holy Bible that encourages faith and trust in the everlasting arms of God. This painting is to illustrate Isaiah 46:4 and it was influenced by the picture of our first grandchild taken when he was about 5 hours old - “In My Father’s Arms.”

In this painting, the baby rests peacefully and feels secure in the arm of his father and oblivious to whatever is happening in his environment. Just as the baby rests peacefully in his father’s arms, believers in God regardless of their ages should lean on the arms of God that will never fail them.
