No pain no gain seems to be the right slogan for the circus performers and aerial artists like the young lady that I used her images for this work. Falling with broken bones and bruises all over the body, still, brushing off the dust and keep grinding for the joy of their works makes their experience resonate with the facts of life -Roses and Thorns which is the theme of my works in general. For this reason, I chose the image of the young lady for this latest work in my Roses and Thorns series titled “AMY G: The Queen of the Ring.”
